DOGEUN' is a complex first aid kit that helps children respond to possible airway obstruction accidents at home. By commercializing theHeimlich maneuver and the movement of cpr, even those who do not know how to first aid can easily use it to protect their patients' golden time.
Children often experience airway obstruction accidents due to their habit of putting small objects in their mouths. Recently, incidents of foreign object ingestion have increased by 22.1%, with 4,230 cases specifically related to stationery items. In such emergencies, the Heimlich maneuver and CPR are required within 5 minutes, but parents often struggle to respond quickly due to panic and lack of training. This highlights the need for a new, more intuitive and rapid method of first aid.
The Solution
'DOGEUN' addresses this issue by embodying the characteristics of hand shape and pressure points that appear during the Heimlich maneuver and CPR. By combining the two pressure points into a single product while considering the direction of compression, it offers greater effectiveness.
Additionally, its automated function allows for continuous pressure from the moment the emergency responder is dispatched until arrival at the hospital, providing a solution that keeps our children safe.
It can be conveniently stored anywhere in the house for quick access in case of an emergency. Additionally, the silicone components are detachable, making it easy to maintain cleanliness.
The silicone attached to the bottom compresses the sternum up and down in intervals of five, reaching a depth of approximately 5 cm through the internal mechanical system. If a foreign object is dislodged, a simple touch can stop the movement instantly.
Inspired by actual first aid hand movements, we designed a heart-shaped area on the back of the device. This allows it to perform CPR by automatically compressing the chest at a rate of 100 times per minute and to a depth of 4-5 cm.
The internal mechanism not only performs CPR and the Heimlich maneuver but also automatically notifies nearby hospitals when activated. Users do not need to wait for paramedics to arrive; by securing the device to the chest, it will continue automatic compressions until it stops.
